Using the app

Start with a city you know

Check your birth time, then open City and choose a place to explore its houses and angles.

  1. Find a city

Turn the globe and tap a city, or use “Search cities”. The region filters help you narrow the view.

  2. Read the theme and its chart details

Look at the city card's theme and the placements beneath it, then choose “Read this city”. Check which planet, house or angle the interpretation refers to.

  3. Compare two places

Use “Compare cities” to select two locations with the same birth details. For a birthplace reference, choose your saved birthplace within the comparison.

In the screenshotReading the Tokyo card

In the screenshot, the Tokyo card discusses partnership and cooperation. It notes Mars close to the descendant and a change in its house position, giving you specific details to read alongside the theme.

These themes come from the birth details used in this example; your own Tokyo chart may emphasize something different. The lines on the globe mark planetary reference positions, helping you orient the chart geographically.

What City changes

City keeps the original birth moment and changes the location used to view its houses and angles. Your natal chart remains the starting point. The relocation chart guide explains how this differs from a map of planetary lines.

Begin with accurate information

City needs an accurate birth time: a guessed time can change the angles and houses. The birth chart feature introduces your birth details; compare locations within City.

If you only know an approximate time, the birth-time guide explains what to check first.

Keep the place in the picture

Streets, people, housing and everyday costs are part of a city too. Keep those plans beside your chart notes. For a look at the scenery, visit G’s travel diaries, a collection of travel films.
