Tarot and astrology: two ways to begin.

Tarot and astrology often appear together, but they do not use the same inputs. A birth chart starts with a birth moment and place. A tarot reading starts with cards, a question and, when used, a spread that gives each card a position.

Meet G includes both. You can return to your birth chart to explore a recurring theme, or bring a question from today to a tarot reading.

What a birth chart brings to the reading

A natal chart uses birth details to calculate celestial positions. Astrology interprets those positions symbolically; you can return to the same chart with a different question.

If you are starting from scratch, the birth chart guide introduces planets, signs and houses. An accurate birth time is especially important for the rising sign and houses.

Tarot: reading an imageThe Sun’s child, white horse and sunflowers give joy and openness a visible form. A reading connects those details with the question and the card’s position in the spread.

What tarot brings to the reading

A card’s position gives the reading a context. In the past position, it asks you to look back; in the present, to consider what is happening now.

A single-card or three-card spread can give a reflection some structure without requiring you to interpret an entire chart.

One situation, two starting points

Suppose you have just joined a new team.

With astrology
Read a chart theme alongside the ways you usually speak up, collaborate or settle into an unfamiliar group.
With tarot
Ask, “What would help me join in this week?” Use the cards to consider a particular conversation or a question you could ask.

Compare those thoughts with the team’s actual routines and expectations. If you need help narrowing the question, try the tarot question guide.

Does a card have an astrological equivalent?

Some traditions link cards with planets or signs. These are symbolic conventions, not birth-chart calculations: the Sun card and the Sun’s natal position serve different roles.

Where G fits

In Meet G, you can explore your birth chart, bring a question to tarot, and talk with G. The website explains those parts of the app; readings take place inside Meet G.
